  • Do you train groups or individuals?
    At this time, our professional training is only for groups/teams.
  • Are you DBT-LBC certified?
    Our trainers, Alicia Paz MA and Kat are not DBT-LBC certified. Alicia trained in DBT in her graduate school counseling program. Kat is a peer educator who is a graduate of DBT. Visit our About Us page for more information.
  • Will your skills training certify me in DBT?
    Our training does not provide DBT-LBC certification. That is done by a single company who charges their own fees. Our trainings can teach you DBT skills, prepare you to use them with your clients, troubleshoot certain issues related to DBT, and/or provide customized webinars on a specific topic.
  • How much does your DBT skills professional training cost?
    The cost of our training depends on what your needs are. Here is our pricing:
  • What is DBT skills coaching?
    DBT Skills Coaching is a regular meeting with DBT Therapist Alicia Paz MA. You'll first create a action plan addressing your Target Behaviors (TBs) that you want to decrease or increase. Then you'll discuss skills to help achieve your goal. You can also plan for difficult situations or work through specific skills issues.
  • How do I know if I'm a good fit for DBT skills coaching?
    You may be a good fit for DBT skills coaching if: You already know DBT skills & are seeking more support. You are knowledgeable in DBT skills & could use help making them work for you. You struggle with when to use skills or what skill to use when. You are seeking guidance in using DBT skills. *You must already know DBT skills in order to do skills coaching* DBT skills coaching is NOT for folks in crisis.
  • How much does DBT Coaching cost?
    You can purchase DBT skills coaching sessions in packages. Five sessions - $1250 Ten sessions - $2000 (20% off)
  • Do you take insurance for coaching?
    We do not take insurance for DBT skills coaching as it is not therapy.
